why today was great; new york edition!
1. amazing, beautiful weather! So sunny and breezy! 2. Hung around Canal Street for my sister to get off work. Basically, this entailed me drooling and buying stationary from MUJI. 3. Big Sis got a half day! Woo! 4. Lunch at Cafe Habana. Corn, coronas with lime juice and chili, fish tacos and torta sandwiches. Also, I loved that they had all their windows and doors open, letting the sunshine...
So I’ve been in New York for about a week and two days officially as of today. Normally, this would be the length of my stay, visiting my sister for a short spring break or a week during winter. However, this is just the beginning of the two months (a bit more, really) of living and trying to figure this place out. I’m puzzled, scared, overwhelmed, hot, happy and so so uncomfortable....
